The Asus Zenfone 7 is a product the Taiwan based tech company 7series which the company is set to officially launched has revealed on August 26, 2020. This flagship was confirmed when they took to YouTube a live stream video announcing the launch of the Asus Zenfone 7.
However, the live stream video unveils a bit of information on the device too. But focusing more on the launch events details, which as planned will begin at 2 pm local time, or 11.30 am in India. Also, the static video does hint at a quad-camera setup at the back, aligned in a straight line.
As reported by Asus is ready to announce the next-generation ZenFone 7 series in China. The launch is scheduled to take place online on August 26 at 11:30 pm IST in Taiwan. While the company hasn’t yet revealed the names of the devices that will be unveiled, the lineup may include the vanilla ZenFone 7 and the Pro model.
Asus took to Twitter to announce the arrival of the series and shared a video teaser that suggests the upcoming phone will get a notch-less display and a motorized flip camera setup (just the way seen on the Asus ZenFone 6Z). These two leaks have really confirmed the launch date of the Asus Zenfone 7 series.
Asus Zenfone 7 Series Specification Highlight
The AsusFone 7 and 7 Pro may come powered by Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 865 and Snapdragon 865+ processor, respectively. In the camera department, it is expected to feature a quad-camera setup at the back and a motorized flip camera mechanism on the front.
As seen on the NCC database and Geekbench, listing recently suggested the specs of the ASUS ZenFone 7. The listing says the phone will pack a 5000mAh battery unit, coupled with 30W fast charging technology. Further, there could be a Snapdragon 865 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM.
The Asus ZenFone 7 will be a sequel to Asus ZenFone 6, which was launched globally sometime in May last year with the then top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and a unique flip camera design. It has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display, dual cameras, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 5000mAh battery capacity with 18W fast charging support. The upcoming Asus 7Z is likely to bring some major improvements and cost around Rs 40,000 to compete with other 2020 flagship devices like OnePlus 8.
